Speed when you need it, savings when you don’t
You can choose from a range of turnaround times depending on how urgently you need the translation done.
Standard
Up to 15,000 characters (including spaces) or 2,500 source words per day.
Note: A “day” refers to a full working day and does not include the day on which the order is placed or the day on which the translation is delivered, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Urgent
Up to 25,000 characters (including spaces) or 3,500 source words per day.
Express
More than 25,000 characters (including spaces) or 3,500 source words per day.
SOS
Same-day delivery, or delivery within 24 hours of placing the order.

If you choose to conclude a framework agreement with us, the prices will be fixed in accordance with the terms of the agreement. Large companies tend to prefer this option, as it enables them to calculate what a translation will cost based on the parameters set out in the agreement, making it easier for them to budget, and saving them time, as they don’t need to ask us for a quote before every job.
Some points to note about pricing:
The billing unit varies by country. In Hungary, it’s customary to charge per translated character with spaces. Therefore, the quote you get before the start of the job will not be exact but will be an estimate, which factors in the expansion in the length of the text that is likely to occur during translation. You’ll receive the final price when the translation is delivered. If you want an exact quote based on the number of characters with spaces in the source text, please specify this in your request for a quote. For clients based outside Hungary, the basis for billing (unless otherwise requested) is the number of words in the source text (i.e. the text that needs translating). When you ask for a quote, we present it in the form of a price per word multiplied by the total number of words, less any discounts for repeated text.
Discounts for repeated text
At our company, you get discounts for the translation of repeats in a text (i.e. segments of text, usually full sentences, that appear more than once). Our specialised software calculates these repeats, or if your project consists of several texts, then the repeats across these texts, as well as any repeats from previous translations we’ve done for you, and for these repeats we charge a discounted rate – usually 30%, but sometimes as little as 20% – of the full translation rate. All this will be specified in the quote or cost estimate we give you.
